Type, Print & Bind
Type, Print & Bind is a self-initiated project. Through this platform I conducted bookbinding workshops in community centers across Karachi, Pakistan in order to encourage a sense of community and knowledge-sharing.
       The visual identity draws upon elements found in Pakistan Chowk, the printing hub in Karachi. The logotype is minimal and easily adaptable from workshop to workshop. The word ‘print’ is mirrored to add playfulness to the fixed-width logotype while also giving a nod to printmaking plates and movable type.
